Welcome to Institute i4. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, products, services, training courses, workshops, coaching programs, and related learning resources.

By registering for a course, purchasing a service, or using our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About Institute i4

Institute i4 is a Canadian training organization specializing in professional development, business analysis, project management, agile practices, business data analytics, leadership, and related disciplines.

Institute i4 provides instructor-led training, corporate training, coaching, workshops, learning materials, and certification preparation programs.

2. Registration and Payment

Course registrations are confirmed only after full payment has been received unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Institute i4 reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations at its sole discretion.

All prices are listed in the applicable currency indicated on the course registration page and may be subject to applicable taxes.

3. Course Access

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have:

  • Reliable internet access
  • A suitable computer or device
  • Required software and browser compatibility
  • Audio and video capabilities when required

Institute i4 is not responsible for technical issues on the participant’s side.

4. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to maintain a professional and respectful learning environment.

Institute i4 reserves the right to remove any participant who:

  • Disrupts training sessions
  • Harasses instructors or participants
  • Shares inappropriate content
  • Violates applicable laws
  • Misuses Institute i4 learning resources

No refund will be provided in such cases.

5. Course Recordings

Certain training sessions may be recorded.

Recordings may be provided solely for the personal educational use of registered participants.

Participants may not:

  • Download recordings unless explicitly permitted
  • Share recordings
  • Republish recordings
  • Sell recordings
  • Distribute recordings to third parties

Institute i4 retains all rights to course recordings.

6. Intellectual Property

All course materials, manuals, presentations, practice questions, study guides, templates, videos, graphics, and website content remain the intellectual property of Institute i4 or its licensors.

Participants may use materials for personal learning purposes only.

Participants may not:

  • Copy
  • Reproduce
  • Publish
  • Share
  • Modify
  • Sell
  • Distribute

any Institute i4 content without prior written consent.

7. Course Transfers and Substitutions

Participants may request a transfer to a future public course offering at least seven (7) days before the scheduled course start date.

Transfer requests are subject to seat availability.

Corporate registrations may substitute participants prior to course commencement upon written notice.

Institute i4 reserves the right to approve or deny transfer requests.

8. Participant Cancellation Policy

More than 14 days before course start:

  • Full refund or transfer option.

Between 7 and 14 days before course start:

  • Transfer permitted or refund less a 10% administrative fee.

Less than 7 days before course start:

  • No refund.
  • One transfer may be granted at Institute i4’s discretion.

After course commencement:

  • No refunds will be provided.

9. Course Cancellation or Rescheduling by Institute i4

Institute i4 reserves the right to:

  • Cancel courses
  • Reschedule courses
  • Change instructors
  • Modify delivery methods

when necessary.

If Institute i4 cancels a course, participants may choose:

  • A full refund; or
  • Transfer to another available course session.

Institute i4 shall not be responsible for travel, accommodation, visa, lost income, or other incidental expenses.

10. Certification Success Guarantee

Certain certification preparation courses may include a Certification Success Guarantee.

The specific terms, eligibility requirements, reimbursement conditions, and limitations applicable to the guarantee are described on the respective course page and form part of these Terms and Conditions.

Institute i4 reserves the right to verify eligibility before approving any guarantee claim.

11. Certification Disclaimer

Institute i4 provides education and exam preparation services only.

Certification decisions are made solely by the applicable certification authority, including but not limited to IIBA®, PMI®, and other credentialing organizations.

Institute i4 does not guarantee:

  • Certification success
  • Employment
  • Promotions
  • Salary increases
  • Career advancement

unless explicitly stated in a written guarantee.

12. Corporate Training Services

Corporate training proposals, pricing, schedules, deliverables, and cancellation terms may be governed by separate agreements.

Where a separate agreement exists, the agreement shall prevail over these Terms and Conditions.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Institute i4 shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Consequential damages
  • Lost profits
  • Lost business opportunities
  • Data loss
  • Career outcomes
  • Certification outcomes

Institute i4’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the participant for the applicable course or service.

14. Privacy

Institute i4 respects participant privacy.

Personal information is collected and used only for purposes related to:

  • Course administration
  • Customer support
  • Certification support
  • Communication regarding Institute i4 services

15. Website Use

Users agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems
  • Interfere with website operations
  • Upload malicious software
  • Use the website for unlawful purposes

Institute i4 reserves the right to suspend or restrict access when necessary.

16. Modifications

Institute i4 may update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Updated versions become effective upon publication on the Institute i4 website.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
