If you do not pass your certification exam, Institute i4 provides continued support, access extension, retake-fee reimbursement, and, if needed, tuition protection after the third attempt.
This guarantee is not a shortcut. It is a structured support system for students who fully participate, complete the preparation requirements, and attempt the exam within the required timelines.
Who It Is For
This guarantee applies to eligible participants enrolled in qualifying Institute i4 certification preparation programs who meet the attendance, practice, documentation, and exam-timing requirements.
It is intended for students who actively follow the preparation plan and provide official evidence of each certification exam result.
Exam retake-fee reimbursement is limited to the applicable certification-body member-rate value, not the non-member exam fee. For IIBA certifications, Institute i4 strongly recommends that candidates maintain active IIBA membership during the exam-taking process to reduce exam and retake costs.
How to Qualify for the Success Guarantee
To keep the guarantee fair and meaningful, participants must complete the preparation requirements and provide the documentation needed to validate each claim.
100% Attendance
Attend all live instructor-led course sessions. Full attendance is required to qualify for the Success Guarantee.
Course Activities
Complete all required course exercises and learning activities.
Practice Exams
Complete all full-length practice simulator exams with a score of 80% or more.
First Exam Timing
Attempt the first certification exam within three months of course completion.
Official Results
Provide official proof of exam results for each certification exam attempt.
Claim Deadline
Submit any guarantee claim within 2 business days of receiving official exam results.
What Happens After Each Exam Attempt
After the First Exam Attempt
If the participant does not pass on the first attempt, Institute i4 will:
- Reimburse the certification exam retake fee up to the applicable member-rate value for the second attempt.
- Provide one complimentary re-attendance of the same live online course.
- Extend access to recordings, study materials, and exam preparation tools for an additional three months.
- Provide guidance on areas requiring improvement before the next exam attempt.
- For IIBA certification exams, participants are strongly encouraged to maintain active IIBA membership and active application status.
After the Second Exam Attempt
If the participant does not pass on the second attempt, Institute i4 will:
- The second exam attempt must be taken within 3 months of the first exam attempt.
- Reimburse the certification exam retake fee up to the applicable member-rate value for the third attempt.
After the Third Exam Attempt
If the participant does not pass on the third attempt, Institute i4 will refund the remaining balance of the course tuition paid by the participant.
Approved refunds will be issued within 30 days of claim approval.
Supporting Documentation
For each claim under the Success Guarantee, participants must provide:
- Official exam results issued by the certification body.
- Proof of payment for any reimbursed exam retake fee.
- Any additional information reasonably requested by Institute i4 to validate eligibility.
Success Guarantee Exclusions
The Success Guarantee does not apply if:
- The participant does not meet the eligibility requirements.
- The participant does not attend 100% of the live course sessions.
- The first exam is not attempted within three months of course completion.
- The second exam attempt is not completed within three months of the first attempt.
- Required practice exams are not completed with a score of 80% or higher.
- The participant does not submit the claim within 2 business days of receiving exam results.
- The participant provides inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information.
- Required documentation is not provided.
- The exam is interrupted or failed because of the participant’s internet connection, device, system setup, identification issue, testing environment, or other infrastructure problem.
- The participant is disqualified or affected because of failure to follow certification-body exam rules, online proctoring rules, identification requirements, or exam policies.
- Issues related to exam delivery, online proctoring, technical interruptions, or certification-body decisions must be raised directly with the certification body, such as IIBA.

Your certification plan should not be disrupted by last-minute course cancellations.

Exceptions
Institute i4 may reschedule a session only in extraordinary circumstances beyond normal operational control, such as instructor illness, emergency, major technology failure, natural disaster, or government restriction.
In such cases, Institute i4 will reschedule the missed session or provide an alternative make-up session to ensure participants receive the full training hours.

Questions About Institute i4 Guarantees
Can I use the Success Guarantee and free course retakes together?
Yes. Free course retakes support the Success Guarantee framework. If you need to re-review challenging topics live with an instructor before attempting your next exam, you may join an active cohort for free, subject to the conditions of the retake policy.
What happens if I fail three times under the Success Guarantee?
If you meet the eligibility requirements and do not pass on your third attempt, Institute i4 will refund your remaining tuition balance. The refund is calculated as course tuition paid minus any exam retake fee reimbursements previously paid under the guarantee.
Why do you require 80% on practice simulator exams?
Achieving 80% or higher on full-length practice exams is a strong indicator of readiness. This requirement helps ensure participants are well prepared before using official exam attempts.
What qualifies as an equivalent offer for the Lowest Price Guarantee?
An equivalent offer must match the complete Institute i4 training package, including live instruction, training hours, instructor access, simulator access, learning resources, student support, free retake privileges, and comparable guarantees.
Are IIBA, PMI, application, membership, or exam fees included?
No. Third-party exam registration, application, and membership fees are paid independently to the certification body and are not included in base tuition. Under the Success Guarantee, eligible exam retake fees may be reimbursed up to the applicable member-rate value.
Does the Session Run Guarantee mean a course can never be rescheduled?
The guarantee means Institute i4 does not cancel public sessions because of low enrollment. Extraordinary situations such as instructor emergency, major technology failure, natural disaster, or government restriction may require rescheduling.
